Holiday Gifts for the Guys

I shared my first holiday gift guide a few days ago, but I couldn’t forget about the guys. Here are a few ideas if you’re shopping for boyfriends, husbands, brothers, dads, friends, and more.

  1. Joggers: Every guy could use a new pair of sweatpants—especially in the year of 2020. This pair of joggers from Everlane are a great option if you’re not sure what brand to go with.

  2. A print of their favorite city: Want to give something a bit more sentimental this year? The Mapery Prints shop on Etsy has a ton of affordable, classic prints of major cities from around the world. I gifted this to my boyfriend for his birthday and he loved it.

  3. Patagonia half-zip: You can’t go wrong with a Patagonia sweatshirt. My personal favorite is the 1/4-Zip Fleece Jacket in forest green. Plus, Back Country is having a major sale right now and this baby is 30% off—coming in at under $70! They also carry other name brands like North Face if you want to buy a few staple items for your guy’s wardrobe (or yours too)!

  4. A Promised Land by Barack Obama: You probably already know that Barack Obama recently came out with his new book, A Promised Land. This is a great gift for the men in your life that love to read. Pick up a copy from your local bookstore to support a small business!

  5. Sleek getaway bag: Anyone else know a guy that still uses an old Nike gym bag for their weekend trips? Time for an upgrade! This getaway bag from Everlane is stylish, sleek, and understated, and comes in a few colors.

  6. Classic white sneakers: While these Cole Haan shoes are technically sneakers, what they really are is a subtle fashion statement. They can easily be paired with jeans, chinos, kakis, or shorts, making them a perfect versatile shoe. If you’re shopping for a stylish-forward friend or hoping to “up” someone’s fashion game, this shoe is the way to go. Bonus: they’re on major sale right now!

  7. Kiehl’s skincare: While women are are consistently bombarded with reminders to care for our skin and bodies, men don’t always get that same reinforcement. Finding a facial care routine is crucial to preserving our skin’s youthfulness, brightness, and health. If your guy doesn’t currently have a routine in place, I recommend these two simple products from Kiehl’s as a gift: the Ultra Facial Cleanser and Ultra Facial Cream. The mild, gentle cleanser is perfect for all skin types and helps remove dirt and debris without over-drying skin, while the non-scented cream hydrates skin for 24 hours leaving it softer than before, and visibly more healthy. If you’re looking for a final product to add to your guy’s skincare routine, this Eye Fuel is packed with caffeine and Vitamin B3 to help reduce puffiness and dark circles.

  8. Barware set: For guys that love a good cocktail, this barware set in gunmetal is a great gift. You can pair it with their favorite liquor, or a sophisticated set of whiskey glasses.

  9. Cocktail crystal mixing glass: If you want to go all out with a mixology theme, also snag this cocktail crystal mixer. It’s designed for expert bartending, and made for stirring up a cocktail or two in the classiest way. Again, pair this item with a nice bottle of liquor for an extra special gift.

  10. Watch box: If your guy is big into watches, consider buying them this super discounted grant leather watch box from Pottery Barn. It comes in two colors and can hold up to five watches. Add a monogram for a personal touch and an extra dose of thoughtfulness.

  11. Apple AirPods: Last but not least, Apple AirPods are a must-have for any guy. If you know someone that doesn’t own them already, this gift is sure to please.

Tell me about the other people on your list you have to shop for!
