Recent Style Finds

Holy moly, it’s been a minute. How are you all? I was crazy busy this past month and found zero time to give Allora Grace some love, but we are BACK and READY to deliver.

This week, I took a poll on my insta stories to learn more about what content you’re craving, and the majority of you are currently in need of some style inspo. Lucky for you, binge shopping is my favorite hobby and I’ve been on the hunt for some new closet staples as we head into warmer months. Through my search, I found a lot of cute items that I thought many of you would also be interested in. So, I decided to do a round up post and share my favorite new items in my closet (or pieces that likely will be soon!).

All of these pieces follow my style rules. They’re affordable (yet, look expensive), practical, and can be mixed and matched with a variety of different outfits. I’ve been searching for a blue and white top — a classic color combination for this time of year. When I found this eyelet blouse from LOFT, I was sold. I can’t wait to wear this cutie on my upcoming trip to Martha’s Vineyard. I also found this casual, cool jersey knit tank that will have you feeling trendy and chic. It also comes in a delicious burnt orange if you’re seeking a different color option. Lastly, I can’t recommend this white blazer from H&M enough. You don’t need to be working from an office to need it. This blazer works well as a jacket and perfectly adds an extra layer of class and poise to your casual outfits.

I recently found this olive green, ruffle hemmed dress from Target and HELLO affordable. I plan to keep this dress causal with slip-on sneakers, a jean jacket, and a cute canvas bag. I’ve always struggled to find jumpsuits that I think are practical and cute, but Everlane seemed to dive into my mind and create the perfect one that I’m seriously considering pulling the trigger on. It would be adorable with white sneakers, a baseball cap, and a chunky oversized white sweater, or elevate it with a low slip-on block heel and dangle gold earrings.

Bottoms

Somehow, I’ve over-invested in jeans during the pandemic. If stock prices are going up at any jean retailers, it’s likely solely because of me. Maybe it’s because I’ve been living in leggings for a year… But, now I am ready for real clothes (in moderation, of course). One of my new favorite pairs is this high-waisted pair from GAP. I love the slightly frayed look and the wash. I’ve also been searching for some new comfy shorts. When I saw the word “comfy” in the title of these ones from Nordstrom, I was sold. They are reportedly uber soft.

Now, we can’t forget about your outfit’s finishing touches. And, my god, there are SO MANY cute shoes out there right now. I recently purchased the white slip-on mules from Madewell and, no surprise, I’m in love. They elevate simple outfits and are also pretty comfy. I’ve been trying to find a cute statement sandal and I think this pair from J.Crew are the winner. Plus, they’re on sale.

We all need a simple baseball cap in our closet. They’re perfect for running errands, going for a long walk, or when you’re having a bad hair day and just don’t want to deal with the fuss of hair care (me most days). I adore this one from Madewell. Gold huggie earrings have been trending for a while. However, do you have a pair that shimmers? If not, do yourself a favor and snag these ones from J.Crew — currently only $10, you’re practically stealing them. I also recently found these stackable gold rings from Nordstrom Rack. They’re affordable and classic. Last, but not least, I’ve been searching for a cute straw summer clutch. This one from Nordstrom fit the vision I had in my head AND it’s currently on sale.
